Pharmacy Technician PT/FT

Looking for 2 part-time pharmacy technicians OR one full time technician

Responsibilities:

Support the pharmacist in processing and dispensing prescriptions (including: prescription order entry, 3rd party payer adjudication and troubleshooting, correct selection of generic medication, blister packaging, specialty compounding, manual billing, etc.)

Maintain inventory control and other administrative functions

Providing customer service in a pleasant and efficient manner

Qualifications:

Certificate in Pharmacy Technology preferred

Working knowledge of Nexxsys an asset

Ability to multi-task and understand both clinical and financial aspects of pharmacy practice

Ability to work under minimal supervision

Excellent computer and communication skills

Mathematical ability

Flexibility and organization

Excellent customer service
