Advocacy & Communications

Our Advocacy work focuses on advancing the role of pharmacy within Nova Scotia’s healthcare system.

We engage with government, stakeholders, and the public to ensure pharmacists are recognized as essential healthcare providers.

Through advocacy, we strive to expand access to pharmacy services, improve patient care, and build a stronger, sustainable healthcare system for all.

Our advocacy activities include government relations through community-based events, as well as public education and awareness though TV and digital campaigns, and a monthly podcast featuring community pharmacists answering the public’s most asked questions.
