CPPCC Medication Review Services

Medication reviews help improve communication between patients, pharmacists, and physicians. They support medication adherence and provide an opportunity to ask questions about your prescriptions.

Complex Medication Review Service (CMRS)

A Complex Medication Review is a service available at all participating Community Pharmacy Primary Care Clinics who are having difficulties managing their medications and health conditions and/or could benefit from greater understanding and knowledge in accordance with the eligibility criteria below.

Basic Medication Review Service (BMRS)

A Basic Medication Review is an insured service under all the Pharmacare Programs for beneficiaries who are having difficulties managing their medications and health conditions and/or could benefit from greater understanding and knowledge.

Advanced Medication Review Service (AMRS)

A Advanced Medication Review  is an insured service under the Nova Scotia Seniors’ Pharmacare Program. AMRS is providing a comprehensive review to address specific eligible medication therapy problems (MTP).
