The clinic appointment will be with a pharmacist. Pharmacy technicians may also be present to assist with services such a injections, blood pressure measurement and more. The conditions and services that are available to be booked in CPPCC clinics are within the scope of practice of pharmacists. Occasionally, something will come up during the assessment that falls outside of their scope. If this occurs, the pharmacist will send a consult letter back to your family physician or nurse practitioner for follow-up care. If you do not have a family physician or nurse practitioner following your care, CPPCC pharmacists are able to consult with an NSH Nurse practitioner for some chronic conditions.
