Contest Rules & Regulations

 

  1. To be eligible for a chance to win, enter on-line at www.pans.ns.ca. Limit of one (1) entry per person per day.
  2. Prize of one (1) Maritime Travel Gift Certificate with an approximate retail value of $1500.  Total prize value is approximately $1500.
  3. The potential winner will be the first chosen entry selected by random draw from all entries collected on-line.
  4. In order to be declared a winner, selected entrant will be required to sign and return within 20 days a written declaration of eligibility, liability and release, confirming compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded.
  5. Contest is open to all residents of Nova Scotia, except to full, part time or contracted employees of any Nova Scotia pharmacy and the Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia and their families; or to employees of the companies sponsoring the prizes, or their immediate families.
  6. All entries become the property of  the Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia (PANS). No notices will be made regarding winning entry, except to the selected entrant.  The Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia, its members and participating pharmacies assume no responsibility for lost, late, illegible, misspelled, misdirected, incomplete or delayed entries.
  7. No purchase necessary to enter this contest. The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and not convertible to cash. No substitutions or exchanges are allowed. The chances of winning are dependent on the number of entries received at close of contest.
  8. Contest runs from March 1st – March 31st, 2015. Draw will be held after the close of the business day on April 1st, 2015.
  9. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
  10. Prize must be claimed within 20 days of notification. If the potential winner does not qualify or accept the prize as awarded by such date, that entry will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be drawn.
  11. Before being declared a confirmed winner, the selected entrant is required to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question, to be administered by telephone.          
  12. Each contest entrant agrees to abide by these Rules and to release and hold harmless the Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia, its members and participating pharmacies, their respective affiliated companies and franchisees, the prize suppliers, and their respective employees, officers, directors and shareholders from any and all liability, claims, loss, damage to persons or property, costs, expenses and actions of any kind related to or arising out  of this contest, or resulting from the acceptance or use of the  prize awarded, including but not limited to sickness, death, personal injury and property damage.
  13. The Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia reserves the right to cancel, withdraw, amend, terminate or suspend this contest in whole or in part at any time and without prior notice.
  14. Contest is void where prohibited.
  15. The information collected in this contest is used for the sole purpose of administering this contest and is subject to the privacy laws of Canada, the privacy policy of the Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia and each participating pharmacy’s privacy policy.
