This service is available to patients who have or are concerned about diabetes. Your pharmacist may perform an evaluation to determine your eligibility, then administer a point of care test requiring a needle prick to assess a value known as A1C that is representative of your average blood sugar over the past 3 months. It is used to identify patients at risk of diabetes and to evaluate treatment progress in patients with diabetes. Please contact your pharmacy for availability and eligibility.
