Heartburn, Reflux Disease or Indigestion

A condition in which stomach acid flows back into the esophagus (the tube that connects the mouth to the stomach) and causes repeated irritation. Symptoms may include:

  • Burning sensation in the middle of the chest (heartburn) stomach pain
  • Regurgitation of food and sour liquid into the mouth and/or throat
  • Bad taste in the mouth stomach pain
  • Feeling fullness soon after eating
