Publicly Funded Vaccines – Adult (MMR/Tetanus)

Certain routine vaccinations that are recommended for daily living may be covered by the Nova Scotia government, depending on your stage of life. Adults may be eligible for an additional single dose of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccine if they were born between the years of 1970-1995. Tetanus vaccination is recommended routinely for adults every 10 years, or occasionally as post-exposure protection. Contact your preferred pharmacy for further information.

This service is only available at Community Pharmacy Primary Care Clinics. There is no fee with your valid Nova Scotia Health Card.
