Skin Rash (Eczema/Dermatitis)

A type of skin irritation that can be triggered by specific substances, allergens, or a combination of genetic and environmental factors. If you have a skin concern and are feeling generally unwell, with or without fever, you should seek care with another provider. Symptoms may include:

  • Dry, cracked and itchy skin
  • Red and swollen patches of skin
  • White flaky patches of skin and/or yellow crust on the top of oily skin
  • Mild to intense itching
  • Skin discolouration (lighter skin turning red, and darker skin turning a shade darker, purple or grey)
  • If allergic dermatitis, the skin rash may appear hours or days after being exposed to an irritant or allergen
  • Found on a localized area of skin or all over the body
