Warts (Excluding Facial and Genital)

A common, benign skin growth caused by human papilloma virus (HPV) and often contracted from public areas such as pools, spas, and locker rooms. Usually, warts are found along the sole of the foot (plantar wart), but they may be found on the hands or elsewhere on the body. Although they are generally harmless, warts can be highly contagious, mildly painful when walking, and challenging to get rid of.

Pharmacists are available to assess, recommend over the counter products, or prescribe topical treatments used in the management of warts (excluding facial and genital) for a fee. Pharmacists are not able to perform cryotherapy (medical freezing).
