These common conditions are within the pharmacists' scope of practice but are not funded in any pharmacies. These services may be offered for a fee. Contact your pharmacy for more info.
There is no fee for this service with your valid Nova Scotia Health Card at Nova Scotia pharmacies and pharmacy clinics.

How will I be assessed for a common condition?
- Book an appointment with your pharmacist.
- You'll meet privately to discuss your condition, medications, and symptoms.
- The pharmacist may prescribe a medication if appropriate, which can be filled at any pharmacy.
- The pharmacist will follow up to assess if further care or referral is needed.
- If you have a primary care provider, your assessment will be shared with them.
