PANS Membership
| The Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia (PANS) is the advocacy body for pharmacists in Nova Scotia. PANS represents pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in all pharmacy disciplines, including community, hospital, academic and corporate. Membership with PANS gives you access to up-to-date information about the profession of pharmacy, pharmacist tools, a variety of discounts, and the opportunity to grow and strengthen your profession. |

Memberships Available:
Pharmacists who have completed their program and who have completed or are close to registration with the NSCP as a Registered Pharmacist should select one of the first three memberships above. With these memberships, you can purchase personal liability insurance. |

Membership available for all registered Pharmacy Technicians who are registered with the Nova Scotia Collage of Pharmacy. Technicians who have completed their program and who are close to registration with the NSCP as a Registered Technician should select the Pharmacy Technician membership so that they are eligible to purchase personal liability insurance. |

*HALF YEAR PRICING: The first three memberships above will be discounted 50% starting the first Monday of July and will be available until December 31. Insurance will not be discounted.

How to Create an Account
Step One - Create an Account : Click Here and select your desired membership level based on your current workplace or position
Step Two - Complete Information : Please provide us with your contact information
Step Three - Purchase Insurance - Select if you would like to purchase liability insurance. Then, select the coverage you would like and complete the form. The basic policies are what is required from NSCP
NSCP Number : If you are obtaining a PANS membership for the first time then you likely have not yet been assigned a NSCP (Nova Scotia Collage of Pharmacy) #. If this is the case then you can leave the NSCP # field blank. You can login to your PANS account and update this information once it has been assigned by NSCP.
Step Four - Depending on when you are signing up, the website may ask you at this time if you would like to purchase for the current year, the next year or both. Please ensure that you select the correct year.

Step Seven : Once you have paid for your membership (and insurance), a receipt will be immediately generated and an automatic notice will be sent to the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists and Wilson Insurance/Aviva Insurance Company of Canada notifying them that you are now an active member of PANS and that you have obtained the required liability insurance. Please allow up to 5 business days for your insurance certificate to be sent to you via email.
