Dartmouth, NS – The Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia (PANS) presented their annual awards virtually over the weekend highlighting the enormous contributions that members of the profession have made to their communities over the past 18 months.

DARTMOUTH, NS – Pharmacies in Nova Scotia celebrated a milestone today, as the 500,000th dose of a COVID-19 vaccine was administered at one of 295 pharmacy clinics across the province.
Pharmacies in Nova Scotia have played an integral role in Nova Scotia’s vaccine program by administering almost half of all the doses that have been delivered in the province.
Dartmouth, N.S. – Almost one in five Nova Scotians used pharmacies to obtain healthcare services since the COVID-19 Pandemic reached Nova Scotia almost one year ago.
Pharmacists in the province wrote more than 165,000 prescription renewals for patients in 2020. This is on top of the almost 20,000 assessments done for shingles, urinary tract infections (UTIs) and birth control, and more than two hundred thousand flu shots.
DARTMOUTH, NS – Pharmacy teams across the province are encouraging Nova Scotians to get their flu shot.
